Riding A cab in SIN

ME : " Elizabeth hotel please..."
Cab Driver(CB) :" It is so close, why dont you just walk ?"
ME : " Uuugh.., I want to pick up my boss 1st, then after that we go to another place, but dont know what is our final destination yet "..
CB : "OK"

malam itu, malam pertama gue tiba di singapore setelah 10 harian lebih ada di batam. malam minggu, malam begitu indah, dengan keramaian di orchad dan segala luapan bahagia dari diri gue, karena bisa ngelarin tugas di batam.

ME :" Tonight Singapore look so nice ya uncle"
CB :" Hugh ?? Nice ?? Not nice at all for me you know, Singapore prisoned me for 10 years !!!"
ME (bengong dan bego nya nanya ): " Oh really ?"
CB : " Yes, they put me 10 years in prison for nearly killing someone. The person not died but how come they give 10 years in prison ??"
ME (jadi agak takut, terus coba netralisir situasi) : "but when we are young, we are tend to make mistake lah uncle..." ( shit...kenapa gue ngomong gini ya).
CB (suaranya naek) : " I wasnot young u know, it is all because of my high temper. I went to prison at age 35, not young anymore"
ME (berlagak tua ) :" 35 is still younglah uncle"

diam...taksi berjalan njut-njutan, dia nyetir gak enakan banget.

diam...waduh, kok dia malah milih jalan yg sepi ya...

CB :" I am still having high temper now, though I taste the fruit of what I did"
ME ( ini orang mau nya apa ya, jadi sebel, gara2 bawa taksi nyebelin banget) : " ah it is usual lah uncle..."
( terus berlagak jagoan...) " Yesterday, you know uncle, I almost hit a foreman in a shipyard just because he was too bloody slow."

CB : " we arrive already, I stopped the meter now, and you can step out of my taxi ?"
ME :" eh, why you did that ?. Run your meter, I'll pay and we'll wait for my boss to come down from his hotel room"
CB : " No, out you out, you dont have to pay, out..out "

SO I walked out of the cab....singapore did not look that nice anymore that night.
