Ditemani oleh secangkir kopi dan sebatang rokok Salem Lights, sore itu aku sedang berselancar di dunia maya, ketika seorang teman (yang gak terlalu akrab), tiba-tiba ngajak ngobrol.
Berbual satu- dua kata, mendadak sang kawan bercerita kalau kontrak nya tidak di perpanjang lagi dan akan berakhir November ini.
Keputusan ini langsung dari manajemen, sampai supervisor sang kawan tidak dapat berbuat apa-apa.
perbincangan kami pun berkembang, ketika dia tiba-tiba bercerita kalau gaji nya RM 1,000. Kemudian dia bercerita lagi tentang pengeluaran nya:
- Rm 500 untuk cicilan mobil
- RM 200 untuk fuel
- RM 100 untuk sewa apartment (dia share ama 3 temennya).
so that's is RM 300 left to life in one month. Or simple nya RM 10 per day. Average meal di kantin kantor sekitar RM 5/meal.
sang kawan terkadang dapat lemburan sekitar RM200 perbulan, yang digunakan untuk voucher HP atau beli daily consumables.
Walaupun setipis ini pun, dia mengaku tidak pernah meminta uang kepada orangtua nya.
Jadi teringat dengan teman di Jakarta, yang memiliki 8 kartu kredit, dan 8-8 an nya sudah overlimit....
Mengerti dengan kondisi KL, orang memang seakan terpaksa memiliki kendaraan/mobil. Cuman aku sih belum pernah masuk dalam posisi dimana hutang equal dengan 50% dari penghasilan.
Saat ini kalau aku boleh rekap, kondisi finansial ku pun sedang babak belur, setelah kami membeli rumah secara cash (actually dengan hutang 200jt ama mami gue).
At the moment, dana yang tersedia untuk membayar hutang ke mamak cuman Rp 60 jt, or kalau gue jual EURO gue, dapat additional 25 jt. still 115 juta to go. Dan sebelum Oktober aku mesti kembalikan uang itu....sigh....
